does the little "spoiler" on the driver side wiper really do anything?
I just bought a set of the Rain-x blades and they obviously don't have the little spoiler on them. Does the OEM one actually keep the blade down at speeds or keep it quiet from wind noise or anything?

It keeps them pressed to the windshield at high speeds.

how come so many websites (tirerack, rain-x) say that you should buy a 22 inch driver side blade when the OEM is 23 inches? Then tirerack goes on further to say that if you buy our 22 inch blade it will be one inch shorter than oem... Do they just not sell 23" or does a conventional 23" not fit somehow on an e46?
