for a 1998 528?? I'm replacing the belt, and this would be alot of help...

It is actually a timing chain. Do you mean the belts for the PS, A/C, alternator? I would not attempt replacing the chain.. but maybe that's just me.

If you look your car up in http://www.realoem.com/bmw/ you can find pretty good drawings and parts list for all e39 sub assemblies.

Ah, yes, I meant the belts for the PS, A/C etc...
