I haven't had my car now but for a week and I am having troulbe with both my in dash receiver and the 6-disc changer not reading CDs.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well.

My car has read every CD I've ever thrown at it exept for one.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well. | No problems here. The in dash CD and DVD player also play MP3 discs (but the CD changer does not). What type of CDs are you trying to play (MP3, store bought music CD, etc.)?

I tried both and it originally played both. Now, sometimes it will play a CD and other times it will not. It doesn't matter if it's a burnt CD or a bought CD.

I have had trouble with this if its a really hot day (we have a lot of those in Texas). After the CD (or the player?) cools off, it can read them again, but it sometimes takes 15-20 minutes.

I haven't noticed whether it happens when the vehicle is hot or cold. I did notice however, that it happened last night several times which would make me think that this is not causing the problem.
It has been working fine all day today. I guess I will just have to watch it and see what happens.
