 How important is Sport Suspension?

I've been having a hard time finding an '04 or '05 545 Black, Sport w/ fold-down rear seats. Just found and '04 w/ 53k miles , Black, fold-down, only a 200 mile drive from my house, for $41,000. No sport pkg.

Will I be sorry? Is this a good price otherwise? It's certified. Thanks!

Buying a BMW for the badge: not important at all

Otherwise, I wouldn't buy a BMW without the sport package.

BMW + Sport Package = as God intended

Some people might say a car at the level of a 545 ought to come standard w/ excellent suspension.

My current 328 IS a sport, but don't know what the concensus is on the 545. Helpful discussion would be appreciated.

It comes down to what you want. I did not like driving the e60 that did not have sport( loaner).

In my opinion a non-sport and sport equiped e60 are two different cars.

To each of its own. I have no SP and it's still fun. Of couse with SP, it'll more harsh compared to non SP.
To me, it's not important.
