Hello fellow experienced BMW enthusiasts! I have never owned a bimmer, and about to place an order on ED 530 xiT Sport Wagon MY2007. I read few threads throughout the forum and it helped very much. Still, I am a little bit nervous. Am I making the right decision and is the price right? Below is the breakdown of what I am offering to couple of local dealers. The initial response I got from them is Yes. And now is the time to place the order. Am I missing anything? What should I expect when I’ll sit down with the dealer to ink the deal?

Negotiated Selling Price Of Vehicle (PRICE OUT OF THE DOOR): $52,295.00 | $1000 over ED invoice is a good price. I suggest that you consider Premium Sound. ED is the way to go, you'll have a great time!

I think the sport package invoice price for 2007 is $1185. The base price for 2007 went up by $700 too.
Good luck with your negotiating. I'm just about ready to make a deposit and order one too. I've negotiated $1300 over invoice, which I feel okay about. Let me know how your deal goes.

I'd give the steptronic another look. Sport and Manual modes are excellent. Otherwise, it looks great to me! You will enjoy the vehicle.
Are you into sound? I anguished over the Premium Sound, and VERY happy with my decision to spring for it.
Unless you're paying cash, the negotiated lease/purchase rate will have a large influence on your payment -- much more so than $$ over invoice.

You are right about sport package. I overlooked the price increase there. Regarding the base price I got the $44,095.00 from:

Also, just curious about your User ID. I was considering MB E350 wagon, but opted for 530 xiT. Did you have a bad experience with MB? I'll keep you posted on how my deal went through.

SantaBimmer, all my life I drive manual transmissions. It is easy choice to make. Regarding the Premium Sound, I am upgrading from 4 speakers on my current car, so I rationalized that 10 should do for me. I am planning to finance the portion of the vehicle through a credit union.
