We have Euro-style round-a-bouts around our neighborhood and at the main entrance to our community, and my wife was going to work Thursday when she got hit. She was in the round-a-bout and a guy in a Dodge Ram truck (pulling a utility trailor none the less) ran through the yield sign and hit her. He caught her right at the top of the rear passenger tire, but managed to get the top of the tire, the rear passenger door, the top of the gas tank, the corner that included a portion of the rear deck lid and the rear bumper.
We've had it for only 3.5 months, and it has about 3700 miles on it. Of course to the insurance company, they could care less that it was new. My local BMW dealer doesn't have a body shop, but I've taken to who they reccommend. It just got there yesterday, and unfortunately I'm going to be out of town this coming week.
This sucks.
