I have been trying to order an 07 model- the 530/535xi. My local dealer says they cant take orders yet. What gives? Anybody ordering them already?

They can be ordered right now. Your dealer must be confused...or trying to get rid of their 2006's.

US E60 MY07 production (except for M5) started with March production, and since March allocations were given to dealers at the end of January (at which point they can place their orders), either your dealer is clueless...or wants to sell you a left over MY06.

Agreed, but wouldn't it be nice for the customer to have full infornation...and a choice!

one of the dealers I spoke to also mentioned that they could not order an 07, but found plenty others that can and will, in final negotiating stages on ED right now
