Your car will actually let you know when to take it in! Read up on it in the manual.

In chicago our mechanics take their smoke break in your car. This was they can verify that cigarette lighter is working up to specs.

ok but how do you know when you have to go to the mechanics??
does the dealer call u and tell u
and does the 5 series need software upgrade?
