Windshield replaced 4 times in last 2 years

I have been driving cars for ~ 27 years. What I have not seen is the rate at which I have to have windshields replaced.

First one appeared 1 month of delivery. This one they indicated they found a small rock chip - my insurance replaced it. The second (9 mos from delivery) no impact, BMW replaced. The third I may have had a rock hit my windshield (1.3 years out).

This last one I know no rock hit. I am taking it back to the dealer. I seem to have these with extreme temperature changes (heat, or cold). I seriously believe there is a design problem.

Mine looked like it was sand blasted two months after delivery. BMW told me, too frickn bad. Gave the name of a place to go have replaced on my dime.
