Okay today my dad let me drive the 545 and i had not driven the car for about 1 month and my dad was using it every day. well , i was driving and i stoped at a red light once it turned green i gave it gas (not hard or anything) and the car was jerking seriously like reving up and down and would not shift untill the car redlined and then went to second gear and then everything was good after that? was this because the car got used to my dads driving and when i went to drive it was trying to adapt? or is this a problem that i sshould consider taking to the dealer? thanks for the replys guys!  |

No, the adaption process is gradual and does not create any issues that you described. I'd have your car checked out, something is wrong.

but i have an smg does it make a difference??

Were you driving the SMG in automatic mode or were you shifting by yourself? Remember, the SMG is a manual transmission unless the computer is controlling it, and in that case I do not believe that it is adaptive.
