Hoping someone on this thread can help me out.

I have recently purchased a 2006 5 Series with Nav system. As opposed to the Nav system on the older X3, non eof my lakes and rivers are labeled. On the X3 system, which looks cruder than the current system, much more information is displayed.

When "points of interest" is enabled, all I see on the map are "X"s. Not very helpful. I am hoping that I am just an novice on this system and don't know what I am doing. The manuals that came with the car (made in October) are not very detailed.
