Does the navigation system keep any history of where the car has been? I have a 530i on order and would like to use it to help track where my sixteen year old daughter is going. We live in Las Vegas and I want to make sure she is not visiting the strip or the casinos.
Thanks. David

It will keep a list of things you've programmed into the NAV, but it won't automatically keep a list of places the car has been on any given trip in the car. You are a gutsy person, letting your 16 year old daughter take the Bimmer for a spin!

I am probably a little different than most of you on these forums. I do like a nice car, but I really don't stress over getting scratches or dings or dents. I just get them fixed when they happen. I let my 16 yo daughter drive whichever car is left in the driveway after my wife and I go out. We have three cars and she has driven them all many times. She doesn't like my wifes SL500 because she can only take one friend. I usually drive the H2 to work, but she takes it once or twice a week. My lease is up on my S500 and I am replacing it with a silver-gray 530i. I have not been happy with the local MB dealers and I think I am done with them. Yes, the insurance premiums are ridiculous for a 16yo, but so far she has been pretty good with all the cars.
