 Clear Paint Protectors

Has anyone had an experience with using these?
I am in the Northeast about 1/2 hour north of NYC and I was wondering if anyone could recommend an installer and what the price was for installation, With all the road work in this area and my past experiences with rocks flying up and chipping the nose and hood as well as bugs smashing into the mirrors and bumpers etc I think it is a great idea and worth the investment. I want it done right and it does not look like something that is easy to do.
Any info is appreciated

There is a company called Midwest Autobahnd which I believe has a location in NYC. I use them and I think they use the best product. I sell cars and my dealership sells the full front for 895. I have the full front and rear on my car and it has already paid for itself. I street park in the city of Chicago and I have had plenty of people hit it and there is no damage.

Try looking up your kit on www.xpel.com and they will also have recommended installers in your area.

Can anyone that has used the clear paint protectors post pics of their car?
I am getting a silver grey car and I am curious if you can see the film, I assume that you can see it but from what distance and does it look OK?

Here is the deal. You know you have the film on your car therefore you will see it because you will know where to look. I bet 95% of the people who see your car casually won't even notice it on there.

The most obvious spot is the line on the hood an inch or two above the roundel. When your car is clean, the line is pretty invisible. When your car is dirty, the hood line will stand out like a sore thumb.

I'd say from 10' away and a clean car, it will be hard to pick up the clear bra.

I think the clear bras are a good idea. They will protect the sensitive areas of the car from serious chips.

Maybe a stupid question, but curious to know , how does one polish the car with the clear film on?.
