I have a 2-week old 2006 530i. The day I picked it up the Premium Sound wouldn't turn on while the salesman was going over all the features. We pulled the key out of the ignition and basically tried everything but nothing worked. We got out of the car, went and got a tech and upon returning to the car the stereo started working again. Since then the stereo has refused to turn on on three separate ocassions but after returning to the car after it sat for awhile it worked again....weird. Anybody else have this problem? The car's going in Monday to correct the "High Battery Drain" warning so hopefully they can fix this at the same time.

I also have the Premium Audio and no problems as of yet (knock on wood) so far in these 2 weeks or ownership. Hope you get yours fixed soon.

I am just curious to see if there is already a software update that I am up for (mine is a September build).
