I've been through the posts on just about every E60-related forum I can find, and I'm not sure about the answer. My dealer has given me conflicting reports. Can anyone tell me with certainty whether or not Comfort Seats on a USA-spec 2006 530i (built after September) have the "adjustable sides" that (for lack of a better description) squeeze you around your rib-area (not around your thighs)?

I think you mean side bolsters. My understanding is that Comfort Seats (regardless of the E60 they are installed in) all have side bolsters. They are very cool for helping you feel locked into your seat.

I thought this feature was for the sport seats?
I know for sure that the E90 sport seats have the width adjustable backrest, so does that mean that the E60 sport seats will get it also?
