I just got an estimate from my BMW dealer on the installtaion of Sirius Satelite Radio - $765. Seems kinda high. I'm in the Baltimore area. Is this reasonalbe? I'm pretty sure I can get a portable one from Best Buy for around $60. What is so great about the internal BMW radio.

It cost me about $450 for my 2004 530i.... this was in SoCal tho...

Mine was around $450 as well on my 04 545. I know they have since changed to a different Sirius modual and raised the price around $100. But the $795 is excessive. Maybe $450 for the unit and 1-1.5 hrs for install. Add $20 for various parts/mounting hardware. May $550-$600 depending on what an hour of labor costs...
