Motorola V710/E815 Cradle Installation for 545i

Motorola V710/E815 Cradle Installation for 545i

I have a 2005 545i with Bluetooth enabled and paired with my Motorola E815. I would like to install the cradle which I purchased (part 84.21-0 393-570). I don't see how this fits and I can't get any help from BMWUSA. Has anyone tried to install this themselves? As an alternative, is there a way to continue trickle charging phone with the car off? My 2001 540i had continuous charging, car on or off.

You have BT to communicate between phone and 545i, why cradle. Where did you buy the cradle, dealer or else ? If it is from dealer then you may be able to find the installation instruction from BMW TIS. With E60, no power to 12V outlet after car shut off. Otherwise, car won't go into sleep mode and hence drain down the battery.
