 Sattelite Radio

I have opted to get satellite radio. Does anyone know when activiation is completed by the dealer is there a free monthly period as a standard (for example 3 months free or 6 or 12) or is it up to the individual dealer. I asked my sales rep the question and I was not convinced he knew the answer especially since the monthly rate was wrong. Buying the car in NY if that helps.
Thanks

Just activated on Saturday. One year free is included. While on the phone call (by the way I activated it, not the dealer) Sirius made an offer I could not turn down....2 additional years for a total of $129 extra (not per year). I was worried about drop outs because I live here in the Napa Valley with trees and hills blocking the sky, but honestly this technology is great.

Disclaimer: I own Sirius stock...go baby!

So is it regardless of weather the dealer activates or you the consumer.
The dealer indicated that they will activate it for me. Just checking so I know what to expect.
Thanks Again and the site is great a lot of useful information here

My suggestion is skip the dealer. Call the number on the screen (have the ESN number handy) and be ready with your credit card. You don't need hellp from the ealer.
