This has been the case since I picked up the car in europe. Acceleration is smooth and everything else seems fine. On my 97 accord there is no vibration in the stick at all at idle.
I am also wondering if there might be some issue with the transmission since the mileage I'm getting is only about 22.5 miles per gallon for mostly freeway driving. I'm driving this car very very gently still so I'm surprised at the mileage numbers.
Any feedback is very much appreciated.

I have just a little bit of vibration in mine as well, but very minor and hardly noticeable....

How about your mileage numbers? My car is a 2006 530i and I actually expected better fuel economy.

My current running total average is about 22.5 MPG (city/highway average).....getting closer to 30 MPG on the highway though. Have you checked your tire pressure?
