Just ordered 2006 530XI Silver Grey/Black yesterday. New to the board and first time BMW owner. Very excited will take 4-6 weeks for arrival (Sept Production) has the battery warning light been fixed and the creaks? I test drove and heard no creaking but not likely I would have heard anyhow. Also, is anyone aware of what the mid-year update was and the difference in the models rolling off the line now as opposed to earlier in the year. Thanks  |

Thanks | The creaking was fixed back in March, so no worries about that. The battery warning will be fixed as well, the cars being produced in Sept. will have a newer iDrive software version.
The mid year update was a new engine and some slightly better interior plastics and trim. The major update for Sept. cars will be the start/stop button, availability of comfort access, and updated stability control systems (same as in the 3 series). Hope this helps!

My Euro delivery is too early. I am picking up a 530xi & a 330i in 9/15. Think I missed a couple of goodies.
