How do you unlock the DVD option on the menu for my 2005 530i?
I see that there is a selection for that but is not activated...just curious.

You can play a Music CD in the DVD drive for the NAV system, so I think if you took out the NAV Disc and put in a CD, the DVD option would be available. It won't play a DVD Movie or Audio DVD however.

It would be great if it were to play an Audio DVD. When checking out the Acura TLs we found that they had DVD Audio and the sound was incredible! If I were buying a vehicle based on its sound system, the Acura would have been it.

Even without the DVD Audio feature though I think the L7 sound system is really one of the best out there. It would be nice if it integrated with the iPod, but the sound of the CD is top notch. Well worth the extra coin.
