 Noisy Brakes - Ideas?

It's my first post here, but I'm enjoying reading posts from others who love their cars as much as I love mine

I have a 2004 530i that I've had for about 2 months. My brakes are noisy when coming to a gradual stop.

I took it to the dealer yesterday and they said that the pads and rotors looked good and there wasn't a build up of brake dust. They said that it could be due to the hot weather...blah...blah.

It's really bugging me. I want people to look at my car because it looks awesome not because my brakes are squeaking as I come to a stop.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Sounds like your pads are glazed. There SHOULD be a substantial deposition of brake dust on an e60 if the brakes are working properly, and the combination of no dust and squeak sounds like glaze. Try making some serious panic stops and see if the problem abates. If not, then maybe the prior owner replaced the stock pads with some after-market junk.
